libfile-sharedir-install-perl software package provides module for installing read-only data files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfile-sharedir-install-perl
libfile-sharedir-install-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfile-sharedir-install-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfile-sharedir-install-perl *
You will get with libfile-sharedir-install-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
